SUMMER SYMPHONY

The broken sobbing bursts
of the breathless landscape
call out to me
Its valiant rarified inhales
of scalding, shimmering heat mirages
echo endlessly
like a disconsolate plea

Maybe, its silent heaves
are not a cry for help
But a call out to a kindred soul
Someone
who would brave the heated glare
of a thousand white reflections
just to touch its core
Someone who would stand there
silently
in the middle of a vacuum storm
Just so in ecstatic unison
they could untiringly breathe
the few atoms of shared air
so warm
Till darkness cooled them apart
or joined them unrestrainedly
In heaven's divine mosaic
of an eternal vaporous dream
elatedly

My feet walk of their own accord
finding their way unerringly
To touch the echoing soulful sounds
of this vapid symphony.......
